Arnold Clifford is head of Carrizo Mountain Environmental Consulting in Beclahbito, New Mexico. An accomplished polymath, he is in high demand as a speaker on botany, geology, history, ethnobotany, and rare plants throughout the US. He also mentors Navajo students by teaching them natural history and field skills. He oversees the burgeoning Carrizo Mountain herbarium and is on the lookout for donations of mounting paper, labels, herbarium cabinets, and more space.  In his spare time, wrangles sheep and horses and listens to bluegrass.
